First of all, amazing work! That being said, I wanted to ask you two things: First, which camera and lenses you use? Second, selling prints of your photos covers most of your photographic journeys expenses? I ask this because I think it's a great idea and a magnificent way of fundraising for your project. It has even motivated me to start a similar project, given so that selling the prints is succesful.
Thank you very much! Typically, I shoot with a Nikon D7000 using a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ultra-wide angle lens (absolute beauty, super sharp!) If needs be, I also have a Nikkor 50mm 1.8G prime if I need to zoom in a bit more. Plans are underway to upgrade to the newly announced Sony A7r (full-frame, mirrorless, 36 megapixels, no AA-filter, tiny and super light? Yes please!)
Prints are just one way of helping to fund my trips, I have many more ideas in the pipeline, including tutorials! So, if you know anyone who would love beautiful prints of Britain, PLEASE share my portfolio around at lightsweep.smugmug.com =) It’s really appreciated. =)
Your photos are absolutely gorgeous and I truly wish I could order them all! But, being an artist, I don't have much to spare. I will; however, reblog the heck out of this as well as share on Facebook!
Hey, any resharing around is totally appreciated, thank you! =) The more people that see how beautiful Britain is, the more I’m able to keep showing. =)
I really love your blog. I live in the UK, and I knew we had nice places, but not as much, but the pictures you take are AMAZING! keep up the good work! Makes me so proud to live in the UK knowing that we have beautiful places x
Thank you for the lovely words! Showing off the beauty of Britain to the world has become my life’s work. I guess it just frustrated me to see so many world-class photographers skip by Britain as a place of little interest (except for London, urgh), so I’m going to correct that by showing just how much beauty there is.
